Cars (Like the Movie)
To say Dylan is obsessed with Cars would be an understatement....
"Queen" and "Mamer" are some of his most favorite words...
Can you see the sheer joy on his face??
The boy LOVES some cars!! :)
Somebody has learned to say "Cheeseeeeee"

Sad Little Animal!
Last week Dylan got bit right above his eye by a mosquito. Bad thing for him is that he's allergic to mosquito bites, so by mid-day on Monday his eye was almost swollen shut! Poor little boy!! He was back to normal by Thursday, but everytime I looked at him, it just broke my heart!

Battle of Wills...
We had a battle of wills this morning...
Between Mom and a strong willed 18 month old with a temper.
It lasted 20 minutes.
It was over something stupid.
It would have been easier to give in.
Guess who won??
Mom of course!!
Guess who was tired afterwards??
Yep, the 18 month old.
But he wasn't any worse for the wear...

Curls
These curls melt my heart every day! I never thought I'd find curls I loved more than the ones Mackenzie had when she was his age, but I must say... I think Mackenzie's curls have met their match! :)

First Hair Cut
Today Dylan got his first haircut! I couldn't bear to the curls (and Brian told me I didn't have to) so we only got the front trimmed so it didn't hang in his eyes anytime it fell in his face. I knew it was time last week when he turned to look at me and started blinking all crazy because his hair was hanging in his eyes. :)
Brian was so sweet to take the pictures today while I tried to hold Dylan still along with the help of the bribe Wanda was so kind to send with us! My shutter speed looks like it was too low so the pictures were pretty overexposed. I had to do some editing to try to get them where they were usable. I took a test shot to make sure everything was ok but I didn't do it with Dylan in the shot, so they didn't turn out like I wanted. Whoops!
(I'm gonna teach BK a little bit about my camera over the weekend just so he'll be familiar enough to catch it next time.)

Homeboy Likes to Read
I remember it just like it was yesterday when another Kennebeck kiddo used to love to read just as much as this one does...

New Face
This new face melts my heart every time I see it! And to think I was scared to be a Mommy of a little boy... He melts my heart on a daily basis!!

Horrible Parents!
Yep those two words describe us on Saturday...
Dylan LOVES the bathtub and LOVED the pool last summer on vacation. On the other hand he HATES any sort of cold water... which includes pools in the backyard, the sprinkler, etc.
So when we were are a party for our friend's little girls this weekend and Brian was taking his turn sliding kids down the slip n slide, he said "Should I scoot him down?" My response, "Yes! But let me get at the end to take pictures first!"

Like I said... horrible parents!
But if you're not laughing, something is wrong with you!!!
Disclaimer: No large 15 month old children were harmed during the taking of these pictures.

Ball
One of Dylan's favorite words, and favorite things. I think I'll let the pics speak for themselves...
(Sorry this one is a little grainy... High ISO)
I love this face! He's either excited or has a ball (or both) when he's making this face!
Acting like he's going to throw it, but never does...
Switched from football to little basketball.
Still acting like he's gonna throw it.
See Daddy!
Silly Daddy!
This is his new trademark... hiked up leg to get on the couch. (or anything else he can climb on)
Ball!
