Day 2 - Epcot, Garden Grill, & Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Our 2nd day at Disneyworld we started at Epcot... we didn't go to the countries until the last day for dinner. We stayed in the kid-friendly FutureWorld. Of course we had to take pics in front of the huge "golf ball" as Mackie called it.
Yep, go figure... she didn't want in the picture. ALMOST COMPLETE MELTDOWN! So we said forget it, and took it by ourselves!

The first place we went was to the Sea with Nemo & Friends... Mackie loves Finding Nemo, when she's not scared of the "Goggle Man"... different story for a different time. We got to ride in cool little clamshells and rode thru a cool ride with a combo of cool decorations, animation, and even real live fishies in an aquarium. Mackie was still kind of in a funny mood the second day (getting used to the "rides") so her favorite part was all the aquariums after we got off the ride.

We asked the kiddos if they wanted a pic with Bruce the Shark, and nope they didn't. We get out the doors and Mackie about has a meltdown to take a pic with the shark... Deciding to avoid that battle we went back inside for the pic.
Yep, she HATED it!! She was all for it until we had to wait 10 minutes to take our pic, at that point she decided she was scared of the shark. I put the kids in the shark while Heather took the pic. Go figure! Funny Memory though. (Thanks for the pic Heather!)

We rode a couple of dud rides, and then had our first character meal at Garden Grill. It was a blast! We got to eat and while we were eating the characters came around to the table to see the kids, sign their books, and take pics. It was such an awesome experience!! The coolest thing was for desert they got to make their own cupcakes! Thought it was the best idea... all Mackie was interested in was the Mickey shapes sprinkles.
Chip decided he needed to take a pic with not just Mackie but Brian too!

I was like a kid at Christmas!!
(Think that's why Brian
took the pic...)

THat night we decided to go to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, because they were at 8 instead of 11 like Saturday night (our first night). I was really worried how Mackie would handle the fireworks because she's not a fan of loud noises, but she LOVED them! She would keep her hands on the side of her face and hang her mouth wide open. Too cute!!

I love the way the castle changed colors at night. Too cool!!
